Our family-run company has been on the market for almost 100 years, offering stylish head wear as well as other unique gadgets and accessories. There is no shortage of various kinds of emblems, including those designed for fans of militaria. One of these is the pin-mounted admiralty anchor. The easy attachment method and the small size of the badge allow for a wide selection of headwear – the emblem goes well with caps such as the Kashubian cap, captain’s cap, Breton cap, Maciejówka cap.

The admiralty anchor is the most widespread graphic mark of maritime labour and seafaring tradition, as well as a symbol of hope.

In Mirror of the Sea, Joseph Conrad characterised it in the following words: “An anchor is a forged piece of iron, admirably adapted to its end (…) To its perfection its size bears witness, for there is no other appliance so small for the great work it has to do. Look at the anchors hanging from the cat-heads of a big ship! How tiny they are in proportion to the great size of the hull! Were they made of gold they would look like trinkets, like ornamental toys, no bigger in proportion than a jewelled drop in a woman's ear. And yet upon them will depend, more than once, the very life of the ship.
