In the 1940s similar caps were worn by the US Air Force mechanics. It was so comfy that it became very popular among all people.

Mechanic is a very original cap with a 6cm long stitched bill that can be worned in the up position. The crown of the cap is made of 6 triangular pieces of airy cotton, so-called gores. The sweatband is elastic and soft, it does not have any stiff material inside. No lining inside makes it even more light and breathable. On the back of the crown there is a natural leather label.

Each hat is different from the others. The Norwegian M98 camouflage fabric that we use for our hats is known for its large patches of DarkOliveGreen, YellowGreen, and Tan. These patches give each hat a distinctive and attractive appearance, as they create different color combinations and different dominant colors on each piece.
